About the Hosts
David Brooks is a search marketing consultant to, and co-founder of, Doctor.com. He is also co-founder of PracticeBrain, Inc., a SaaS company that was acquired by Doctor.com in 2012.
Prior to establishing his consulting company, David was VP, Sales & Marketing for a manufacturer of home theater video projectors and plasma displays. He was also Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for Intermec (NYSE:IN), a $2B industrial technology company, and Manager, Global Marketing Communications for Warner-Lambert Company.
David earned an undergraduate degree in Rhetoric & Communications from New York State University (Albany), and an MBA from The Marshall Graduate School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Before founding DermSpectra, an innovative whole body imaging management system, Karleen was a Senior Program Manager at Raytheon Company where she led new business development efforts in missile defense. Karleen has led the DermSpectra to a top 10 finalist in Los Angeles Business Journal Innovation Award 2016, Best Use of Technology, and Best Manufacturing Awards, Inside Tucson Business, 2015, and top 10 out of 154 companies in Arizona Innovation challenge Award, 2014.
She holds five patents for image sequencing, alignment, and a skin cancer detection display module and received six Technology Achievement awards from Raytheon.
Karleen earned a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Arizona University and an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird International School of Global Management.
